Apply online or call

  • The quickest way to become a Buy As You View customer is to fill in our simple online application form. It only takes a couple of minutes, and all we need are a few basic bits of information about you.
  • If you prefer, you can call us on 0333 777 3208 and a member of our friendly customer service team will help you with your application over the phone.

Complete your application

  • Once you’ve provided us with some basic info about you, we’ll be in touch to complete your application.
  • This involves selecting the product you want, and choosing your desired delivery date.
  • In some instances we may need to arrange a home visit to complete the application. If this is the case, we’ll arrange this over the phone.

Provide your documents

  • All Buy As You View customers are required to provide proof of their identification, income and outgoing expenditure as part of our application process.
  • We accept a passport, driving licence, wage slips, utility bills or benefit letters.
  • Sending us your documentation is easy, and can by done using your smartphone via our secure upload link. Simply take a picture of your documents using the camera on your phone and press send!

Why do you need me to do this?

  • At Buy As You View, we are committed to responsible lending and will only provide products to customers if they can demonstrate they can afford the weekly repayments.

Verify your application

  • When we have everything from you, our team will review your application and do some final checks.
  • This is just to run through any final checks, and to ensure your documentation matches the information provided in your application.
  • It doesn’t take long for us to do this, and you’ll hear from us to confirm delivery within a few hours of you providing your documentation.

Deliver your item

  • This is the exciting bit! Once everything’s completed, our team of expert installers will deliver your item on the day agreed.
  • As well as installing your new item, we’ll take away all the packaging and if it’s a technical product like a Smart TV or computer, we’ll talk you through how to use all the key features.
  • Please note we are unable to set up flat-pack furniture. We’ll let you know whether an item you’ve selected is flat pack during the application process, so make sure you tell us if you’ll have any difficulty assembling this yourself.

You must have our Smart Meter connected to your TV, which may restrict viewing. Read more...

All customers are required to have a Smart Meter which connects to the power supply on your TV enabling your weekly payments to be managed. If the goods purchased do not include a television, the meter will be fitted to an existing TV that you own.

If you fail to make payments on time, the meter may restrict the use of the television. It is important that you speak to us if you think you could fall behind with payments, so that we can help you avoid any restrictions.

All purchases must be insured. We offer EPS cover at additional cost if you need it. Read more...

All goods purchased from BAYV must be covered against theft and accidental damage. Adequate cover must be in place to process your application.

If you do not have home contents insurance, we can offer you our EPS cover at an additional cost, but it may not be the best cover if you’re purchasing multiple items.

We can repossess the product if you don't pay.

You do not own the goods until the sums required under the agreement have been paid in full.

Goods can be repossessed without a court order in the event of default, unless you have paid a third or more of the total amount payable of your regulated credit agreement.
